From Vancouver, Hunter is a stylist who believes in the passion and integrity of his craft. He was the head stylist at the Axis, Vancouver hair salon where he managed and trained a team of 25 stylists. His long and successful career includes traveling the globe with Wella, editorial runway shows for Romeo Gigli and Versace as well as performing as the lead stylist for the Fashion Rocks, charity fall fashion show, 2006. A master cutter who finds joy in making his clients look great and feel fabulous, he joined Arrojo in 2007.

SHE JOINED ARROJO IN 2004 AND WITH HER PHENOMENAL SKILL SET COUPLED WITH HER GREAT PERSONALITY AND A VIVACIOUS ENERGY THAT ENGAGES EVERYBODY WHO SITS IN HER CHAIR, SHE HAS BECOME A LEADING LIGHT IN THE SALON. CHERYL HAS TAUGHT HAIRDRESSERS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE WITH ARROJO EDUCATION AND, AS A TOP STYLIST, CONTINUES TO SERVE HER FIERCELY LOYAL CLIENTELE AT THE SALON.

AFTER THREE YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL HAIRDRESSING AT THE ACCLAIMED JUUT SALON SPA IN MINNEAPOLIS, CHUCK MOVED TO NEW YORK IN 2002. INITIALLY INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CAREER IN EDITORIAL STYLING, HE LATER REALIZED HIS TRUE PASSION WAS CENTERED IN THE SALON AND HE JOINED ARROJO STUDIO WHERE HE HAS WORKED DILIGENTLY TO REFINE HIS ALREADY DISCIPLINED CUTTING TECHNIQUE. “SHORT HAIRSTYLES IS WHERE ONE CAN BE MOST CREATIVE BUT THE BEST HAIRCUT IS THE ONE THE CLIENT IS HAPPY WITH,” HE SAYS. HE HAS DEVELOPED A LONG AND LOYAL CLIENT LIST AT ARROJO, AS WELL AS PRODUCING OUTSTANDING EDITORIAL WORK AND BECOMING A KEY MEMBER OF OUR SHOW AND SEMINAR TEAM.

Carmel brings Irish charm, and more than twenty years of hairdressing experience, to our team. She moved to New York in 1990, and has worked for Clive Summers and Roy Teeluck as well as attaining the prestigious position of Assistant Creative Art Director for Salon5. A creatively gifted and technically precise hair cutter, she was a featured stylist at Wella Trend Vision, Lisbon, 2009, and also worked on the Wella Future Vision show, Chicago. In demand as an educator who is an expert in all elements of the craft, and as a salon-floor stylist who loves to bring out the inner beauty of each client, Carmel joined our team in 2010.
