INITIALLY INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CAREER IN EDITORIAL STYLING, HE LATER REALIZED HIS TRUE PASSION WAS CENTERED IN THE SALON AND HE JOINED ARROJO STUDIO WHERE HE HAS WORKED DILIGENTLY TO REFINE HIS ALREADY DISCIPLINED CUTTING TECHNIQUE. “SHORT HAIRSTYLES IS WHERE ONE CAN BE MOST CREATIVE BUT THE BEST HAIRCUT IS THE ONE THE CLIENT IS HAPPY WITH,” HE SAYS. HE HAS DEVELOPED A LONG AND LOYAL CLIENT LIST AT ARROJO, AS WELL AS PRODUCING OUTSTANDING EDITORIAL WORK AND BECOMING A KEY MEMBER OF OUR SHOW AND SEMINAR TEAM.

CHERYL RECEIVED HER EDUCATION AT TONI & GUY AND GATHERED TWO YEARS SALON EXPERIENCE WHILE CONTINUING TO PERFECT HER TECHNIQUE IN THEIR ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAM. SHE JOINED ARROJO IN 2004 AND WITH HER PHENOMENAL SKILL SET COUPLED WITH HER GREAT PERSONALITY AND A VIVACIOUS ENERGY THAT ENGAGES EVERYBODY WHO SITS IN HER CHAIR, SHE HAS BECOME A LEADING LIGHT IN THE SALON. CHERYL HAS TAUGHT HAIRDRESSERS FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE WITH ARROJO EDUCATION AND, AS A TOP STYLIST, CONTINUES TO SERVE HER FIERCELY LOYAL CLIENTELE AT THE SALON.

Antonia is a fantastic colorist with extensive editorial experience. Her great skill is translating trends from the fashion industry to terrific and wearable looks for clients. She has an excellent understanding of hair color and design, with creativity a great feature of her work. Antonia is a regular stylist at New York Fashion Week and has worked with luminary designers like, Tracy Reese, James Cavallo, Douglas Hannanat, Phillip Lim, Rachel Comey, and Derek Lam. A native New Yorker, she joined Arrojo Studio in 2008 where her warm, engaging personality and commitment to high-quality hair color has made Antonia a firm favorite.

A NEW JERSEY NATIVE, VICTORIA’S LOVE OF FASHION TOOK HER TO THE FASHION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TO STUDY FASHION DESIGN. FROM THERE, SHE ATTENDED THE AVEDA INSTITUTE TO LEARN THE ART OF COSMETOLOGY. IN DOING SO, SHE FOUND A REAL PASSION FOR HAIR STYLING AND JOINED OUR TRAINING PROGRAM IN 2004. VICTORIA HAS TOURED AND TAUGHT WITH THE ARROJO TEAM AT INTERNATIONAL HAIR SHOWS, AS WELL AS HAVING HER WORK FOR DESIGNERS NAUM AND HARALD FEATURED IN W MAGAZINE. SHE’S ALSO PRODUCED FANTASTIC WIG CREATIONS FOR THE INSPIRATIONAL HENRI BENDELS AND VICTORIA’S SECRET WINDOW DISPLAYS. VICTORIA HAS NURTURED TALENT AND TECHNIQUE TO BECOME AN ESTABLISHED MEMBER OF OUR STYLIST TEAM.

HILARY MOVED TO NEW YORK TO PURSUE HER CHILDHOOD DREAM OF BECOMING A HAIRSTYLIST. SHE ATTENDED THE AVEDA INSTITUTE, WHICH LED TO WORK WITH THE DELUX BEAUTY LINE AND CONTINUED MODELING OPPORTUNITIES. HILARY’S WORK AS A HAIR MODEL LED HER TO ARROJO STUDIO AND BACK TO HER FIRST LOVE, HAIRDRESSING. SHE JOINED OUR TEAM IN 2003. SINCE THEN, SHE’S DONE AN AWESOME JOB, ABSORBING ALL EDUCATION TO BECOME A TRULY GREAT HAIRDRESSER. SHE’S WORKED WITH THE ARROJO TEAM AT HAIR SHOWS ACROSS THE US AND IS NOW AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE STYLIST TEAM. HILARY HAS UNBELIEVABLE ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM, COUPLED WITH A GIFT FOR BRINGING CONFIDENCE OUT OF ALL HER CLIENTS.

AFTER TWO YEARS HONING HIS APPROACH, HE JOINED ARROJO IN 2005. WITH OUTSTANDING RAZOR SKILLS AND A KILLER BLOW DRY TECHNIQUE, YANNY SAILED THROUGH OUR ACADEMY TRAINING PROGRAM AND IS NOW A FULL-TIME STYLIST AT THE SALON. WITH GREAT KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW HOW, HE HAS TAUGHT AT THE ARROJO EDUCATION SEMINARS, PRODUCED OUTSTANDING EDITORIAL WORK, AND WAS RECENTLY FEATURED IN CELEBRITY HAIRSTYLE MAGAZINE.

After five years in public relations and events, Stacey made the leap into hairdressing. Her appreciation of Nick's passion and drive brought her to Arrojo Studio after completing her foundations at the Aveda Institute. While juggling stage and film work, she completed the curriculum ahead of schedule. She loves the expressive freedom at Arrojo Studio and enjoys giving clients modern, low-maintenance styles. She has styled the lead singers of The Academy Is, Rose's Pawn Shop and rocker Kelly Buchanan. Stacey is from Santa Monica, California and has lived in Texas, Ohio and Washington, D.C.

Originally from the coast of New Hampshire, Amy moved to New York eight years ago to pursue a career in theater.  After working in public relations and special events, she decided to leave her desk jobs behind to find a career that was much more creative.  She attended the Aveda Institute New York and realized her passion for hair color. After hearing Nick Arrojo speak during a seminar at school, she knew that his salon would be a perfect match for her artistic eye and desire to learn.  Amy has become a great asset to our Academy Team and was part of Arrojo’s first young talent hair show at the Wella Studio.  She looks forward to helping you look your best.

Abbey grew up in Minnesota, and moved to Manhattan for the fashion, culture, and lifestyle. Her education began at the Aveda Institute, Minneapolis, where she became intrigued by the physical effect hair color has on people; and was drawn to Arrojo because of the salon’s high reputation for continued employee education. Since joining Arrojo, Abbey has proved a fantastic addition to our color team, she has worked at New York Fashion Week, IBS, and featured at education seminars at the Wella Studio in the Rockefeller Center. She entered the NAHA hairdressing competition, and won the in-house color and styling competition.
