He went on to excel as a colorist and educator for the Vidal team in Miami before he recently made the move east to New York, and Arrojo Studio. Andres' drive and commitment to quality, excellence and perfection in his color craft while also emphasizing the importance of a memorable and positive experience for the client makes him a perfect fit for Arrojo.

From Vancouver, Hunter is a stylist who believes in the passion and integrity of his craft. He was the head stylist at the Axis, Vancouver hair salon where he managed and trained a team of 25 stylists. His long and successful career includes traveling the globe with Wella, editorial runway shows for Romeo Gigli and Versace as well as performing as the lead stylist for the Fashion Rocks, charity fall fashion show, 2006. A master cutter who finds joy in making his clients look great and feel fabulous, he joined Arrojo in 2007.

SHE JOINED ARROJO IN 2004 AND WITH HER PHENOMENAL SKILL SET COUPLED WITH HER GREAT PERSONALITY AND A VIVACIOUS ENERGY THAT ENGAGES EVERYBODY WHO SITS IN HER CHAIR, SHE HAS BECOME A LEADING LIGHT IN THE SALON. Carmel brings Irish charm, and more than twenty years of hairdressing experience, to our team. She moved to New York in 1990, and has worked for Clive Summers and Roy Teeluck as well as attaining the prestigious position of Assistant Creative Art Director for Salon5. A creatively gifted and technically precise hair cutter, she was a featured stylist at Wella Trend Vision, Lisbon, 2009, and also worked on the Wella Future Vision show, Chicago. In demand as an educator who is an expert in all elements of the craft, and as a salon-floor stylist who loves to bring out the inner beauty of each client, Carmel joined our team in 2010.

Abbey grew up in Minnesota and moved to New York for the fashion, culture, and lifestyle. As a talented young colorist, she was drawn to ARROJO because of the high reputation for employee education. Now Abbey is a star of our team: She has taught color at the Regis Color Awards, she is the Spokeswoman for Sebastian Professional Cellophanes, her editorial has featured in Sports Illustrated and on the cover of American Salon, she has been interviewed and published by “O” magazine in the States and Occapa magazine in Japan, she is a regular stylist at New York Fashion Week, and she’s worked alongside Nick Arrojo on TLC’s What Not to Wear. Not only this, Abbey is a fantastic person who finds great joy and reward in working with clients to find the perfect color match for their own individuality.

As a top-class international colorist, Mariesa moved to New York and ARROJO to pursue her dream and further her career in a city that provides endless inspiration and energy. An experienced hair color expert, Mariesa trained in Australia and has spent the last decade working in London alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. Her credits include Color Director at the Hob Academy, education for Wella and Technical Director at Toni & Guy. Mariesa has been involved in hair shows and seminars throughout Europe as well as styling hair at numerous London Fashion Week shows. "I love creating beautiful hair color to compliment and enhance the overall style of each individual who sits in my chair," she says.
